ABOUT US
PGC Technologies AG is a young company that develops new innovative assembly lines and automatic workstations for the assembly and repair of movements for the watch industry.
All our developments are based on the principle of automatically assembling various calibres on one line in a one-piece flow, without having to make tedious adjustments and setups.
With the PGC-ML01, we have developed a modular assembly line for the repair and revision of movements, which allows sequential assembly by semi-skilled employees and automatically oils, greases, and epilamizes all components and movements.
HISTORY
PGC Technologies AG is a group of interdisciplinary specialists in the watch industry who have been collaborating on numerous projects for over 20 years. Through the analysis and improvement of structures and processes in manufactories, the rationalization of operations, and the realization of special machines with the latest technology, to the development of innovative products, we have helped many companies succeed. As inventors, consultants, and managers, we have 120 years of industry experience.
As part of a client mandate, we were confronted with problems typical of the watch industry. Since the market did not offer suitable solutions, we developed and implemented them ourselves. We designed the solutions to be optimally configured and adapted to different requirements.
The modular assembly line thus created is used in the repair service and revision of CPO watches and is operated by semi-skilled personnel. The line works independently of the calibre, automatically controls the assembly quality, and oils, greases, and epilamizes all components and movements with robots. Assembly time and costs are massively reduced.
VISION
We want to establish PGC Technologies as the leading company for calibre-independent assembly lines in repair centres and in the manufacture of movements.
The reduction of assembly times while simultaneously improving assembly quality and thus the sustainable increase in profitability of the after-sales service are our focus.
We apply the same focus to automatic sequential assembly in the manufacture of movements: better quality at lower costs, combined with a rapid ROI.
